Everybody buy GM, the Snoop De Ville is coming!

Link

SNOOP Dogg has never been known for lucid financial analysis, but the pot-puffing rapper has some stock tips. Snoop predicts General Motors shares will skyrocket once they start making his ghetto-fabulous "Snoop De Ville" limited edition sedan - "It'd be hooked up with the rims, the paint, the music - you ain't got to do nothing but drive," he tells MBA Jungle magazine. Snoop also likes Altadis, the world's fourth-largest tobacco producer, which makes his beloved Phillies Blunts.

According to this page:

"The car is expected to be in production and on sale by late 2002. Cadillac haven't confirmed Snoop's claim or made any announcement about their 2003 series, but Snoop is telling anyone who wants to listen that his new Caddy will be a limited edition with hydraulics."

----

I wonder if this will do as well as his movie "The Wash" which has gross a mind-boggling $8,725,106 in 4 weeks of release. :p

I don't care what Poop Dog thinks, says, or does. It must be a "black thing", hence my lack of interest.

I think it's a crock of sh|t. Cadillac has been cautious about promoting the Cadillac Escalade as a celebrity favorite, despite it's immense popularity with the hip-hop crowd. Old white people still make up, and will continue to make up Cadillac's consumer base. They don't want to alienate them.

Therefore, I don't think Cadillac is going to go to business with one of the most sleaziest, disgusting people in the entertainment industry. The DeVille is Cadillac's flagship car and the best selling luxury vehicle in America. There is too much to jeapordize. Any gains will be minimal, and damages to the Cadillac brand would be immense.

I don't doubt that an independent auto-customizer might be producing "Snoop DeVilles", but that's a *completely* different thing than GM manufacturing one.

<< "black thing" = not called for, dont be a i love you >>

...........and that statement makes you a hypocrite. I'm not the one who coined the term "black thing". When I was younger and worked with quite a few black people I tried to understand where they were coming from. When I asked them about things their response was always; "you wouldn't understand, it's a black thing". After receiving that response enough times I stopped giving a sh!t about anything they had to say. They were the exclusionists, not me.

That would be cool.
Bring back the old 64' styles with all new technology. In one package.

Damned geeks are so quick to be critical.

This is a joke because the US will STILL be in recession when the car starts production. Not only will this car be limited in production, it will be impractical and I'm willing to guess overly expensive. DeVille's already cost over $42-43 grand. I can imagine this one would be in the $50,000 range or higher if they add the rims and the hydrolics. Why would anyone buy a ghettowagon when they could get a Jag, a Beamer, or a Mercedes that would be a step up in class and quality.

Yes, because people won't buy a brand of car that a black person drives. You make no sense at all.
