Sniffer Q

With NAI's Sniffer program does one need a NIC to capture packets across a WAN link? If not, how do you configure the program to use a regular modem? TIA.

Most of the WAN captures require a "Pod."

I'm not aware of any way to capture modem traffic (with the NAI Sniffer or Sniffer Pro).

If you want to capture modem traffic simply select the dial-up interface within sniffer setup.

Update: There seems to be no reference in NAI's installation guide to any option regarding setting-up the program for a dial-up interface.
