i never liked snickers... my favorites are kitkat and bounty... in that order... but bounty is more common in europe. It's been ages since I last tasted bounty.

My wife and I said the same thing, what makes it different from a Mars Bar? Hell, at my local quickie mart, they put the Snickers w/ Almonds in the very same box as the Mars Bars. Now what would be really good would be a Snickers bar with chopped Hazelnuts. I can't think of a single candy bar made in the US that contains Hazelnuts. I always get a Ritter Sport bar which are imported from Germany that have whole Hazelnuts in them and they are delicious.

I love chocholate and almonds. LOVE. But there is something that doesn't vibe with me when you mix a chewy or soft chocholate with them. It just doesn't run as well, whether it's snickers or mars.

I stock the isles at the registers at Walmart, and the Snickers almond bars seem quite popular; I don't know what they're like myself, I can't stand almonds.

That's it....I had an almond snickers, liked it, but was trying to figure out why it seemed familiar.

I agree about the hazelnuts as well, huge in Europe, hard to find in many things in U.S.A.

I don't know what you're talking about. I think it's soooo much better than the original. Plus it has a ton more almonds than a Mars bar.
