our 2001 passat was cursed so we sold it.

First it got rear ended on the fwy ($3000 covered by insurance)
Then a stray dog ran out in front of it and screwed up the front bumper ($1000 out of pocket)

so we sold it and bought a 2000 exploder for $9600.

And the girl we sold it to? she ran over a semi tire sitting in the road on her first big road trip and it's in the shop.

Cursed, I tell you!

Come to think of it, I ran over a dead deer in my g/f's Jetta. Maybe its standard practice for VW to curse the cars before they leave the factory... I'm going on a fact finding mission to Cancun to figure that out.

The factory is in Cancun, right? :D

well my friends '01 passat suffered from the coil problem (had to go to the dealership 3 times, which they replaced one at a time rather then all 3 coils they knew were bad); and a stuck moonroof motor.

he said when it's paid off he's throwing that sh*t out...lol
