SNES or Nintendo 64?

I wanna play mario and donkey kong (wasn't so lucky to have one when I was younger) among other games. Which one is better to have?

i can care less for the additional 3d stuff as I love playing the 2d games. I prefer Super Mario World 3 over the Super Mario version of my Gamecube.

Super Mario All-Stars for SNES has Super Mario 1, both versions of 2, and 3, IIRC.

SNES is a much better system, and has many more very good games. Especially of the two characters that your most anxious to play.

However, Mario 64 alone is worth buying an N64 as well as the SNES. Considering you can probably find one on eBay for a few bucks, I'd suggest getting both

Don't know much about the games, but I assume it's much harder to find a SNES in good condition. Waiting for Wii also sounds like a good idea to me.

I would also have to vote for the SNES. Lots of great titles for it. Should be able to pick up a good deal on eBay.

Never bought the N64, but I love my SNES. So many good games on that system. I think I still have the SNES in a closet somewhere. Bomberman w/ multi-tap was fricking awesome.

You know... if you buy the game for $5 a piece you can technically play the ROM using an Emulator 'cause you own the game... Sh!t, I've said too much.
