hello,
i have a snes emulator installed on my system, which is a 900 amd, 512 ram, 32m video card. when i open any game, the problem i am having is it drags real bad. even the music in the game drags. i am running win xp. could someone tell me what could be causing the lag. thanks for any assistance. also, the cpu is running at 100% even before i open a game. just when i open the emulator period. are you using zsnes or snes9x? if not, use one.
i beleive that zsnes has a high priority option. or try boosting the priority of it in xp's Task Manager.

A 900 Mhz AMD should be more than enough for SNES emulators. SNES9x and ZSNES are the two best SNES emulators out there. I personally prefer ZSNES because it works better with my controllers. I used to run ZSNES on an 850Mhz overclocked Celeron.
