i've been buying skechers sneakers for the past few years. i like the way they fit and the way they look. only problem is, they don't seem to last very long. just normal wear and tear of every day use.

what a good brand that lasts a long time? or should I have mroe than 1 pair and rotate between them?

I wear Nikes and KSwiss mostly - the Nikes have served me wonderfully. I wear Cross Trainers mostly.

There's nothing wrong with the Skechers, it's obvious that you're just running them into the ground. Buy more than one pair and rotate.

i've had my current pair for about 2 months now maybe and the rubber part near the bottom is coming apart from the body of the shoe.

every pair i've had does something like this.

You drag your feet. Learn to walk. I have shoes last 4-5 years and soles still look decent. Not daily use, but at least once a week.

Then there's gotta be some explanation as to why your shoes fall apart so fast unless you're walking many miles a day (like more than 5).

i have been wearing these sketchers for at least a year and they are holding up exceptionally well. the only other brand i have worn that held up this well would be dr martens.

Maybe you should look into work boots. I find Wolverines very comfortable and they should outlast sneakers by a long shot.

Yeah, both my girlfriend and I have Sketchers and have found them to be wearing out exceptionally fast. I've got a pair of 5-hole "demi-boots" and the sole is definately wearing down FAST. I'm a big fan of the 5-hole "boots" and will probabaly go back to Doc Marten's when I have the cash. My last pair of Doc Martens lasted more than 4 years (with daily wear)
