vented /= cross drilled/slotted. They probabyl are vented on all 4 wheels, just not slotted or cross drilled which do not help with normal street driving anyway and in no way help reduce braking distances(can actually increase them) unless you everyday commute requires you to push your car's limits at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca every morning.
