I remember during one of my school recitals I had a snare solo. The kicker was; the actual snare was broken so I told my instructor to fsck off during the presentation. Let's jsut say, my parents and the rest of the audience were not too impressed. Though, my dad did laugh afterwards when I told him why I didn't want to play. (He's a drummer)

I like how the google video can't even begin to show you how fast his hands and the sticks are moving.

Individual and Ensemble's a time for a guy to show off like mad ;)

The uniform looks like .. Phantom Regiment? A guy named Mickey Burmer got 3rd in I&E snares from Phantom.

Forgive me if i'm wrong, haven't been active in corps since 2002 ;)

By far, my favorite and I think the coolest drum corp show ever - The Planets by the Cavaliers, 1995.

This video fvcking ROCKS, but for some reason its lagging ehre so the sets don't match up with the music. Ugh.

And just think... the guy in that video only got 3rd place. One of our high school drumline instructors was the DCI tenor drum solo winner in '94. He's pretty crazy.

I love the '95 show too, especially the part where they do that wave thing. I love their 2002 show where they got the highest score in DCI history (now tied with Cadets). I was at championships that year and saw them several times. The hair was standing on my neck and I was getting chills down my back the entire show.
