I ordered the PVR-250 + SNapstream 3 kit and what a rip off.
First, the PVR-250 card is used/refurbrished. The anti-static bag is clearly worn out and there are THREE anti-static labels covering the opening. Two of them had been torn before the third was stuck on.
Second, I can clearly see the marking for the screw on the bracket. Someone installed the card prior and returned it for whatever reason.
Third, the IR receiver is missing! This was a SHRINKWRAPPED RETAIL BOX and the IR receiver is missing.
Either hauppauge royally screwed up, or someone's been "refurbrishing" these packages and selling them as new/retail.
I tried calling Snapstream but they don't have a phone #. No one answers their emails either.
My advice is not to buy from Snapstream.
