FYI, if you work with snap servers on windows domains and have problems with it erroring out when copying large amounts of data from a share, you need to disable the master browser:
network settings>microsoft networking>advanced>uncheck enable master browser
One check box fixed a problem that has pissed me off for a week. :|
I'm so glad I'm getting rid of this damn thing (copying all data to new fileserver), it's nothing but a headache.
