Snagging Old WU's??

Hey All-

I found an old SETI account that I had a couple years ago with a couple WU's in it... is there any way I can grab those WU's and transfer them into my current account.. meaning TA gets 'em? 😀

I'm not aware of any method to transfer WUs between accounts with S@H, but you could always have that user join TA.

I don't know of any way to merge SETI accounts - please tell me if I'm wrong. But if you join Team Anandtech on the old account, contrary to what the SETI FAQ states, all your old work will be transferred over here.

It used to be possible to retire an old account into another one. From what I was told some people abused this feature (I don't know what they did exactly) so seti no longer allows you to do this.

If you still have access to the old email address you used for the account you can request your password and it'll be emailed to you and the old account can be joined to Team AnandTech and all the wu's in the account will transfer to TA even if you were previously a member of another team, regardless of what the seti site says.🙂

If you don't still have access to that email address you can email s@h and explain the situation and they may send you the password to your new email address. I know some people have gotten their old passwords this way. Whether or not this would work for you just depends on the mood of the guys at seti.😀
