i have a few questions and gripes about the shuttle nf2
first off the spdif is not coaxial digital, its optical- how many speaker systems use optical as a signal? mine uses coax digital, so i'm stuck with damn analog sound for now.
and how the hell do you use the output jacks they give you? there is one jhack that says center/bass, another that says surround and another that says R/L. this is not dolby digital, dolby digital is one cable (either coax digital or optical digital). why did they not include a coax digital
other than that the system is hella fast
second off, is the optical jack use to output sound or is it supposed to be used for minidisc communications?
and last question, are there any computer speakers that can use an optical digital signal (since the nf2 shuttle system has no coax digital.
