SN41G2B Won't Post :(

Hello,

I'm having some trouble with a SN41G2 (Black) V1 build. First, here are my specs:

AMD Athlon XP 1700+ (Thoroughbred)
Shuttle SN41G2 (Black) V1 (FN41 V2.0 motherboard)
2 x 512MB OCZ PC3200 Value Series (CAS 2.5)

That's all that I've got in there right now (took out my HDD, DVD+/-RW and videocard)

Here's my problem:

The system will power up and subsequently shutdown itself several seconds later (nonethelss, I was once able to POST and get to the BIOS). Upon shutting down the red "CPU Overheat LED" will come on and remain on until I pull the power plug from the rear. Without the shim, the system will stay on, however, it will not post.

I've tried plugging the ICE exhaust fan into FAN 3 (which is where it shown to be plugged in the installation manual) as well as FAN 1 (which is designated as the 'CPU Fan' in the included motherboard manual)

Can anyone please help me get this guy to work normally?

Thanks
