Anybody know where to get this at? Me want.

By the way, I got a reply from a Plextor rep., he says the slot load Plextor will be available for purchase this month.

i liked the nf3 one...the case just looks more appealing than this one...but whatever that's subjective

looks like ur all set to go, not missing anything. 600gb, that's a lot of storage, but i'm sure you'll make good use of it.

i'm sure you should be able to clock that 3000+ to at least 3500 speeds making ur puchase more than a deal

wish i had loot to get a SFF system, but for the meantime my toshiba m205 iwll have to do

I'm finally posting from mine.

It was kind of tough to set up, I finally had to disconnect the two secondary HDD's in order to load the OS.

It's all up and running perfectly fine now.

I'll update the specs in my system rig profile soon.

It fits great. Everything fit perfectly. I'm really impressed with the way all these components went together. Shuttle did a great job on form design, IMHO.

I have to ask others how their system is until mine arrives sometime this week . . .

Anyone tried it with a 10kRPM drive yet?

Anyone tried it with a high end Athlon?

I was aiming for the 3800+, since it is the last price-point break before things get stupid.

Anyone think the 3800+ is a waste of cash, say compared to the 3000+?

What games are you running, on what processor and how's it all working?

I'll leave you all alone when I can get mine set up . . .

Fedex delivered mine today... at 10:30pm at night. Yes, 10:30pm.

For some reason, they don't like delivering to my building, so I always get a message on the website saying that they tried to deliver, but that I wasn't home. Of course I was home all day long, and of course there also isn't a call tag left on either my apartment door or the downstairs door, so I know some driver just wants to get out of work early.

I called them, called them again, called again, finally got the local supervisor, who said they'd have drivers back in around 10pm, and could probably get it delivered between 10pm-midnight. Also said they'd call before attempting delivery, of course they didn't. That makes 3 different Fedex people telling me there'd be a callback today, while there never was.

I've got drives and memory already, which will be pulled from a 3.4 p4/ic7-g rig, just gotta decide on processor and video card. Leaning towards fx55 and x800 xl at this point.

Did I say silent? Not with a Raptor in it. It's quite a bit louder than the Maxtors I have in there.)

That was my thought when I got the 3000+. Not so much a waste of cash, more like saving a little cash now. I'll upgrade later when the FX series chips come down in price.

Only Half-Life 2 so far. Running better than my last rig: A P4 3.6
