Good for him. I don't see why if him and his wife want to have kids, they can't. It's not like he is asking to be released to have children.
I don't see how it interferes with him serving his sentence.
If his wife wants to have kids, I think she has every right to do so. Maybe when he gets out, she won't be able to.
