Softwareandstuff (aka Surplus Computers) sent me a fulfilled order in an Uncrustables case box (i.e., not a retail box but the bigger cardboard box that they are shipped to the stores in).

I've chuckled at their guerilla sales tactics ever since. :laugh:

Hope they are better then when they were first in testing. We got to try them out a few years ago at a Smuckers' presentation and the filling was not even mixed. Peanut butter on one side and jelly on the other.

Contrary to what you are assumimg, it has nothing to do with being lazy. A good old homemade (untoasted) PB&J will never have a replacement in my home😉 I just thought I would try them and they arent bad at all.
