smoothvision differences?

I'm deciding on my next video card (Either 9700 Pro or 9600 Pro) and I was wondering if there are any visual differences in ATI's SmoothVision 2 or 2.1. Its not a big deal but I'm just wondering. If not, I'll of course go for the 9700 Pro since it kills the 9600 pro in speed. 🙂
