What has brought 98% of ATOT to the way they feel. Is the youth of today so bent on being against authority?

Most of ATOT believes that smoking pot causes brain damage, God created the earth in 7 days, 6000 years ago, being gay is a sin and gay marriage somehow affects non gays, and that George Bush is okay...
 
Do you really believe that smoking pot is worse than drinking alcohol?
That George Bush is doing a good job?
That a book of fiction that was created by commitee is the word of God?
That someone's personal choices about who they choose to love is any of your business?
 
The youth of today has been coddled far too much and have no real concept of reality outside of their over indulgent lives. It has been far too long since most in this country went through any real hardship that they have become lazy an have a rather simplistic world view. They are simply naive.

Not exactly. This problem started to become rampant in the mid-to-late 90's. Most children before then were more intelligent, disciplined, and respectful to others. I believe that things like progressive education and such have contributed to the decline that we experience today.

1. You know weed is not looked down on around here. Heck it is spoken quite feely of people smoking and posting.

2. Look around. If everything in your sight does not convince you; search deeper inside yourself. There is no way a big bang caused everything to line up so perfectly.

1) Smoking pot has been around for hundreds of years.. It was considered cool & hip in the 60's & 70's.. so, nothing new here..

2) God is a fairy tale; stop wasting time living your life revolved around a fake entity

3) Gay is gay; nothing new here

4) People in general cause problems; GWB is minute in all of this
 
I don't think smoking pot is cool, but there are worse things.
Being gay is great if you're gay. If you're not, well, then it's a pretty ****** deal. One I personally walk away from.
Bush doesn't cause all of the problems, there's way too many out there for him to take credit for.

The world is hardly black and white.

Bush is a freaking religious dipsh1t (whom I am not proud I voted for)

religions are fine as long as my country remebers there is supposed to be a seperation of church and state and they stay away from me..

and I'm 35 and way past the rebel without a cause stage in my life..
but the US has gone WAY down hill and Democracy is dead... it doesnt even matter who you vote for anymore.. thier agendas are all paid for by thier lobbiests whom basically make the government thier private puppets.

Also, ATOT has one of the least liberally biased user bases I've seen on the net. And yes, that still means it's got a liberal bias. Conservatives don't usually know how to use computers. Whoops, did I say that?

These are the prevalent beliefs on ATOT because this is what's "cool" these days. They won't admit it, but a majority of posters on ATOT have a deep need to fit in, so they align their beliefs with mainstream liberals.
