haha yep I remember outpost had them on cheap too.. bought a couple sets, but those were gold version. The platinum ones has better timing on them. Easy OC too.. did 850 with them with out lower cas.

I'm glad I got on it then, but I did have to work for that $50 rebate. They initially denied my rebate because mine was submitted late (due to Frys' late shipment for me) and I wrote them a formal letter asking for my submission back particularly the UPC so I could take it up with Frys. I made a point to report them to the BBB if they fail to do so. I just got the check a week ago.

My rebate check came in nice and quickly... Although the memory I got was DOA so I had to wait a bit less than two weeks for an RMA since OCZ will no longer cross-ship.
