This baby is hot - Sony Ericsson Z1010. Wonder when US gonna get a taste of these hot phones

Characteristics: two integrated digital cameras, two displays, support for video and video conferencing. The external display, which serves for viewing the ?status? of the telephone as well as the eventual calling number, is quite wide, 101 x 80 pixels of resolution with 4 tones of grey. The internal display, we haven?t said, is in colour. It is wide and luminous, and able to view up to 65,000 colours with a resolution of 176 x 220 pixels. The Sony Ericsson Z1010 is equipped with a good two digital cameras, each with their own function: the external camera, aside from taking, saving and sending VGA images, can also record short videos, while the internal camera can be used exclusively for calls in videoconferencing. The multimedia player in formats a/v MPEG 4, H.263, MP3, ACC and AMR is naturally integrated, as is support for messaging in formats SMS/EMS/MMS/MMS video and the WAP 2.0 browser.

nice, but it seems a little much for a phone...and as much as I like simplistic design, I'd like a slimmer form factor (it seems a little square...making me think that it'd be hard to fit in some pockets).

Still pretty sleek looking tho.
 
pretty sweet phones, im sure phones like that will be hitting the us market actually rather soon..
 
Highly doubt it will take off in US. Americans don't like these types of phones, usually relegated to japanese teens or europeans.
 
that phone looks sweet, but i like cellphones to be a bit more basic.....not this "do everything" they're trying to pull off
