doesn't take much to get to a grand on rebates; for example, $350 on a Lexmark printer, $200 on HP DDR2, throw in some HP LCD's (up to $200), another HP Laserjet for $150, and finally toss in some $50 rebates from Logitech and Creative, and another rebate junkie is born, heh heh. Guilty as charged.

Well actually it does say "You Save: $45", but when you add it to you cart that's where it says "-$45 Instant and $40 Mail-in Rebate"

I would not buy these to use in one of my systems because of the apparently high failure rate. On the Newegg reveiws of the top 10 there are 7 or 8 reporting dead sticks after 8 months. UGLY. Still I might buy a set to sell.

CT rebates are just ok.
I bought my Ballistix back during the Memorial Holiday and just received an email saying my $75 check just got mailed.
It's too bad CT only allows one rebate per household.
Otherwise I may need 2gb for my now aging x2 3800 rig.

Based on the failure rates in those reviews, I agree that buying these isn't a good idea at any price.

You may want to reconsider reselling them. Doing so when you know they have a high failure rate doesn't speak very well for your trading ethics.

I considered that but it appears people really want these sticks, and they are covered by a lifetime warranty if they do fail.

Wow, 2-2-2-6. I wonder if they'll loosen up and OC to DDR-500. I could use a set, but I run 250 FSB 1:1 with my current XBLK.

high-failure rate...but...theres a life-time warranty so surely they'll fix'em eventually. $32 is a great deal for these. My friend has had his 1GB set for over a year now with no problems...ymmv?
