Office Depot reduced their price on the Microtek c580 LCD 15" monitor to $174.99 today. Throw a Staples 30/150 coupon at it (competitor's coupon), and the price drops to $144.99. The item is SKU #921771. NOTE: They are out in most areas, and are difficult to find. In the L.A. area, there are none left according to district checks, so YMMV.

I think he wants you to also get the staples coupon and then walk him by the hand to the store to purchase the monitor.

the original poster never mentioned anything about officedepot.com. By reading his post I figured that he was talking about B&M, since you can't use a competitor's coupon at the website. 2+2 people...

in order to keep everyone happy... here is the infor from OfficeDepot.COM (.COM... not B&M)


based on a search with keyword = "Microtek," I found the two followings for MONITORS:

1. Microtek® C586 15" LCD Flat Panel Monitor (Item number: 145838) - $349.99
2. Microtek® C783 17" LCD Flat Panel Monitor (Item number: 229504) - $599.99

maybe he meant the deal is only B&M but not online?

if you look at the catalog OD sent out last year, they only have the c586 model available. Not 580. Probably it is discontinued long time ago. Good luck to find one.

It is B&M only. I found one about 1 week ago in L.A. (the last one), and I know that as of the same time there were 4-5 in Las Vegas. It's not an easy to find monitor (it is a clearance item), but it is still out there in some locations. It isn't on their website, I checked that awhile ago. Don't confuse with the c586, this is the older (but just as good, IMHO) c580 model. Don't drive 300 miles to an OD, I'd say call them and check inventory. If they don't have one, ask for a 'district check'. If that turns up 0, you're SOL for your entire district.

I don't expect this to be an easy find, but I'm sure a few of you can nab one tomorrow somewhere...

i picked up a couple of the A90's but really wanted the LCD ones. I'm going to check this in my area tomorrow and see if they got any.
