Those movies are classic... I think i've only seen 2 of them, and one of them didn't even have Burt Reynolds, it had some trucker with a dog.

That show made the Dukes of Hazzard look like Oscar worthy material...

Cannonball Run 1 & 2 was pretty good as well.

The first one was midly entertaining. The subsequent films were horrible at best.

Not only did I watch BJ & the bear, I also watched Sheriff Lobo. The Smokey films are a bit cheesy and dated now, but they were big fun back then, and just about every kid wanted a Trans Am. Jackie Gleason as Sheriff Buford T. Justice was the greatest. The scenes with his inept 35 year old son Junior produced some memorable lines.
In the second film there was a scene where Buford had to help Junior with his zipper at a gas station and a bunch of guys were laughing at the sight of this and when Buford got back in the patrol car he said "When I get back home I'm gonna punch your momma in the mouth!" + "There is no way that you could have come from my loins".
Shame Burt only made a small cameo in the third film.

That's the movie I've seen more than any other movie I can think of. Even more than Jaws.

I like it when Bufford T Justice gets out of the Squad car take one look at the black sheriff and says "You sounded alot taller on the radio "
