Great to hear your already on the up Greg 🙂 ,but don't rush things by trying to escape & fix your house!(etc) 😉

My doc recently advised me that I should start taking Aspirin daily (cos of my Diabetes) ,can't say that I've taken that up yet!

What he said. Hopefully the numbness is only temporary, and you just need a bit more time to reroute. Continued prayers for your recovery.

Take care,
Dennis

I received a PM from Smoke and he suggested I share the information in this thread.

It seems I was a little premature yesterday when I wrote my leg and face were no longer numb. It appears I am quite numb on the entire right side of my body. However, I do have control of my right arm and right leg so even if I have to live like this, it is most acceptable to the alternative.

Please feel free to update the "thread" with this info. I seem to be a little on the weak side and I don't think I can respond to each individual PM and e-mail I have received. I appreciate all of the communications of sympathy and good wishes.

Thank you and all of the TeAm for really being part of my immediate family.

🙂

Greg
Continued prayers for our good friend! 🙂
Give the body some time to recoup...the human body is capable of amazing things.

We're all pulling for you to get out of there soon, Smoke!

Hey Greg,

Just wanted to say HI, and let you know you are missed greatly around here 🙂

It's not quite the same without you. I hope you are on the road to recovery and that your health is getting better day by day.

Don't worry about the team, you just get better you hear!

We love you man!

Take care and if you need anything please don't hesitate to ask.

Mike

So glad to hear from you grandpa Smoke! 😀

You take care of yourself and get well quickly....we need you! 🙂

A big *hug* from Engineer delivered electronically to you! 😀

I'm doing a little better. Though I am still numb on my entire right side (head to toe), it seems to be a little less so than a few days ago. Yesterday, I assisted (as I could) the satellite guy get my "dishes" readjusted and fixed but found myself getting very weak. One of the satellite dishes was folded back like an umbrella turned the wrong way into the wind. Slept pretty good last night after the day's exertion.

So I'm still hanging in there. 😉

Hope you continue to feel better! I just hadn't heard anything in a couple days and wanted to check!

Thanks for the update Greg  . You just keep taking it easy and continue to get bettter. We're all pulling (and praying) for you!

Sounds like your brain is getting over the shock, and now starting re-connection process.

Prayers for speedy and best recovery possible.

Glad your doing better smoke, I just found this thread :Q We'll get you re-programmed and you'll be good as new. I just wish my punch card skills were as good these days, we're going to have to use 5x9's and a rusty nail as I lost your original programming 😉. I find humor always makes the healing process easier.

be well my friend.

Hi Greg, very nice hearing from you that you re getting better. 🙂
Be well, get better and do not forget to find the small but very rewarding moments in life... 😀

"HUG"

I am glad to hear from you. Hang in there man, we are all pulling for you.I hope you have a speedy recovery and are back to your "old" self soon.

A doctor once told me that the body getting weak after a lttle exercion was a good sign that the body was putting all its energys into repairing itself.

Course he also suggested resting more to help it achieve this 😉

Heck even yoda walks with a cane, and look what he can do 🙂

God Bless and God speed on a fast recovery.

The place seems kinda quiet without you.

Mike

Hey Greg,

Suppose its time to post here..... since my "Take charge" speech in your other post .

Don't know if you are a reader........................but I'm sure after all the posts from us well wishers....... the "Get Better" stuff and "We are with you's"....you haven't got much to do.

I ran across an article today that may be of interest to you ( registration required). Since you live an area of French influence......this site may be of interest. Just some reading material for you. I've got more when you run out and this........ should keep you busy for an hour or two. 🙂 Sad thing is 🙁 I was raised here.....and lived here most of my later adult life .......... never knew this as many times i've been to Lake George. :disgust:

I just wish I were down there.....helping out.............

You just never know though

Thanks for the update Greg, glad you are mending & being as active as possible.
Also good to hear you are getting your dishes aligned! 😉

Good luck and godspeed. I know you did a lot of critical work after Katrina. You've built up a lot of good karma, my man. The most dangerous time is early convalesence when you think you're better than you actually are. Take it very easy. My thoughts and prayers are with you, too.

Greg

Sorry took so long to give my best wishes. I have you in my thought and wishing for a fast recovery. Remember "The Doctor knows Best" Take it easy and get better.

Missing ya

Bryan

Still praying!

Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. :gift:

Get well soon! I was wondering what happened to the SETI weekly averages reports so I searched for "smoke" and found this.
