First off whats your age?
Where did you grow up?
How often do you brush your teeth?
How many fillings do you have in your teeth?
Ever had major dental work done? (root canal, caps, etc.)
Did you have braces growing up? If not are your teeth fairly straight?
Are ALL your teeth yours? If not, do you have false teeth do to an accident or from dental "neglect"?

I'll go first.
I'm 48, I grew up in the midwest (Ind. and Mo. where there is A LOT of minerals in the water).
I brush once a day, but I brush very well. (I guess)
I only have four fillings in my teeth.
No other dental work has been done.
I never wore braces, and my teeth are pretty straight. (I have one or two that are slightly out of wack, but not bad)
I still have all the teeth I was born with. (well after the first set fell out anyway!)

Am I unusual in this respect?

There was I guy I was in the service with that had had a full set of false teeth since he was 17. He grew up in N.C. and I allways wondered if where one grew up makes a BIG differance in how well your teeth hold up.

SO please answer. (If you feel like it!) ;)

Braces, teeth pulled to make more room, root canels, bleaching.. = big bucks but worth every cent


oh I'm gulp... 45 and my teeth are all natural.. no bridges

brush-3-4 x per day, I like a fresh mouth

i need to get my teeth whiter... but they are clean (checkup yesterday) and i have 3 fillings, none of which tranduce radio waves.

i grew up in Southern California
Once a day in the morning
0 fillings (ive never had a cavity)
no work done (i got a wisdom tooth pulled)
no braces my teeth are pretty straight

Actually you can have 0 fillings and still have had a cavity. Ever heard of a crown? :D

Did you have braces growing up? If not are your teeth fairly straight? No braces, need them though (see pic) need retainer too

How many fillings do you have in your teeth? Lost track. 4 maybe?
Ever had major dental work done? (root canal, caps, etc.) Teeth pulled cause I was a pansy and did not pull them out myself. Also wisdom teeth out.
Did you have braces growing up? If not are your teeth fairly straight? Braces. And they have stayed pretty straight.
Are ALL your teeth yours? If not, do you have false teeth do to an accident or from dental "neglect"? All natural, baby.

How often do you brush your teeth? once daily

How many fillings do you have in your teeth? probably 6 or so. I was cavity free until my late teens. ;)

Ever had major dental work done? (root canal, caps, etc.)? 1 Root Canal in a front tooth. It got cracked vertically by a friend's elbow while playing basketball. 2 crowns

Did you have braces growing up? If not are your teeth fairly straight? No braces. They are pretty straight

Are ALL your teeth yours? If not, do you have false teeth do to an accident or from dental "neglect"? All mine. No bridges or partials

two times a day
one and a half fillings (didn't have any until I was 19)
no major dental work
no braces. my teeth are relatively straight. not perfect, but ok
all my teeth are mine

How many times do I brush my teeth? at least once daily, but I can't say that much about flossing :eek:.
How many fillings do I have? zero
Have I ever had any major dental work done? Nothing more major than sealants.
Did I ever have braces? No, not yet.
Are my teeth straight? The top is great, but the front ones of the bottom are a little crowded.
Are all my teeth mine? All the teeth in my mouth are mine.
