Smelly poop

My friend and I are having an arguement on the concept of smelly poop. He thinks that when you stink up a bathroom, it means that you are unhealthy. I think the opposite. Who is right?

The longer you stay in the bathroom and leave feces in the bowl the more smell will linger longer. It might mean you are unhealthy because you don't have enough fiber in your diet, or you may just be spending all your time reading or something in which case you are making yourself unhealthy by prolonging the strain and stress on your rectum and increasing the possibility of hemroids.

You could have diarrhea, in which case you are unhealthy. Or you could have a lot of natural bowl movements, which is, in most cases, very healthy.

So would the conclusion be that it doesn't tell one way or the other?

Not really. Different foods can also have an effect on the pungency of feces, but not necessarily unhealthy foods. Just different foods.
