Smell's, Mold, etc... in AC/Heat ducts, what to clean???

Is there anything you can spray or set off in the air ducts to help clean them?

About to move into a older apartment complex, Raleigh NC 27609, and before I move all my stuff in I plan on sealing all the windows and checking the doors... etc... and then setting off a couple bug bombs, and I would also like to clean out the air ducts.

Just want to make the place as nice as I can before I move in, not that it is that bad now, but want to have a decent place that does not leak all my AC/Heat, have bugs in it, or any smells from the ducts....

I do a little air duct cleaning with the company I'm with. If someone has a mold/mildew problem we take a 10% bleach/water mix and spray it in the air ducts. We usually clean the air ducts first, because you don't want to get the dust/cobwebs wet because they'll be impossible to get out later.

We charge about $325 to clean the air ducts, probably $50-$100 more to get rid of mold. Never cleaned an apartment complex before, that would be quite the job.

If you're just moving into the apartment you might want to ask the manager if the carpets were recently cleaned.

Carpets are all new, and there is no problems with the ducts, bug problems, etc.... I am juts trying to make sure they never come up by setting off some bug bombs, cleaning the ducts, etc....

Didn't know if there was anything you can spray in the AC ducts or set off like a bug bomb, etc...
