I like the smell of magazines, and new books. Sometimes I just flip the pages and smell it. Is this bad for my health? (btw, this is a real question -- not neffing)

Nope. Not at all. It only becomes a problem if you find yourself spraying spray paint into a paper bag and huffing on it until you pass out. It's a big problem in some south american countries.

Depends on where it is printed some states still allow some pretty nasty stuff in there inks.. Toluline is one i know of.. I would not want to be sniffing any of that even the traces that might be in there.. But all in all I am sure it is pretty safe...

BTW I work in the packaging industry and we do all our own printing.. Our California plant cant print some jobs as good as our other plants due to the environmental restrictions on our inks.
