SMC7004ABR Router and Net Meeting problem!!!

I have SMC7004ABR router, and trying to run Net Meeting on it.
I am using MSN Messenger, and in order to run video conf. with other MSN Messenger users, it seems like I have to connect to the Microsoft Directory Server first. But, it seems like the router cannot connect to the Directory Server.

I tried most of things listed on Micrsoft web site, and SMC web site, such as adding ports under the Rotuer's SetUp, Advanced Settings, Special Applications. But, it still does not work. SMC's website is basically saying that "if you try this and does not work, then it is not our problem!!!"

Does anyone know how to solve this problem???

By the way, I am using firmware v.1.30.
Would firmware v. 1.40 solve this problem?

No, upgrading the firmware will not solve the problem. I'm using v1.40 and I can't get into a chat room with Netmeeting. Anyone else have a solution?

You could try putting the client in the DMZ.

Hi:

Before adding ports under the Rotuer's SetUp, Advanced Settings, Special Applications u need to add the PC in the DMZ, that's under
SetUp, Advanced Settings, Virtual Server. If that don't works then go to SetUp, Advanced Settings, Misc and setup the PC in the Virtual DMZ host
and enable it, with this that PC will be out of the firewall and completely expose to the internet
