SMC2804WBR Router problems!

After a period of idle time connected to this router on both wired and wirless connections internet connectivity will be lost. It seems I can access some local networks still but not the internet itself...this only effects the idleing machine, while one machine that has been idling doesn't work another one will. Does anyone know the possible cause of this and how to fix it?
