SMC vs. NETGEAR

ok...i need a basic setup. who should i go with SMC or NETGEAR?

since its for my gf... i need something that doesnt require many reboots and is pretty easy to trouble shoot.

lol..sorry about that...

im in the market for a wireless setup.

i just went to fry's and bought an smc2404WBR cause it was cheap... then on buy.com i saw the NETGEAR MR814 for about the same price...

any thoughts?

I have the netgear and it works great. My personal preference is netgear over smc.

You have asked the wrong question. SMC and Netgeare are not the right solution. D-Link is the right solution.

regular price: Netgear > SMC > D-Link
chassis look: Netgear > SMC/D-Link
features: SMC/D-Link > Netgear

SMC and D-Link have the same heart.

Any of them is fine, just get the one on sale or on hot deal.

one last question...where does linksys fall into? i have a regualr dsl router and it works great. are their wireless products on par?

Agreed with Stranger D-Link. but SMC over Netgear for me between the two.
