SMC Router 7004BR question. Is the green light supposed to on when the system is off?

Hi, is it supposed to on when the system is off? Before I messed around with WOL on my desktop system, the green light on the router was always off until I turned on the system. But now it's always on. I already changed the mobo setting by turning WOL off, also the card already been set up to off on WOL. So is it supposed to turn on all the times? Thanks

Hmm.  I've got an AWBR (kinda close) and the green lite is always on.  FWIW.

I have the 7004abr and it is always on. It's supposed to be. How else is it gonna share an ICS if your computer is off?

I know it has to be on when we want to share but I am not talking about that. I want to know if the light is on or not when the system is off. I know when the system is on then off course the light must be on.

I just said yes, it is supposed to be on when your machine is off. That's the whole point in a router.
