Morning Folks!
I have been using my SMC Barricade 7004BR router for 14-15 months now, and shortly after using this router someone was polite enough to forward me the method for access the router's web server page for altering the MTU setting.
SMC typically makes it simply and this page is access following:
Gateway-IP/ssp.html
... or something like this. Well, someone recently asked me about access this page as he did not know he could alter the MTU on the router. By default, the 7004BR has an MTU of 1500 and for those connecting to their ISP via PPPOE this causes fragmentation and needs to be changed to 1492.
Anyone currently using one of the Barricade routers and know what the /xyz.html is to access the webpage to modify the MTU? I'll go ahead and cross-post this on other forums just to be thorough.
Cheers! 🙂
