SMC Barricade Router(/Firewall)... Sock 4

I am unable to register to use iMesh, the file sharing program. this is what it says on the website:

Please check whether or not your host is behind a firewall or a proxy. If so, then verify that your firewall is a socks 4 compatible firewall or proxy. Socks 4 is the only protocol iMesh currently supports.
If your host is behind a Socks 4 compatible firewall or proxy, be sure to list its details in the Connection Properties window when prompted by the iMesh Registration Wizard.

So is my SMC Barricade Router the reason I can't register? Is there a way around it? Thanks

Also, does anyone know any other programs similar to Scour? I have tried CuteMX but it does not have many users, I can never connect to Tripnosis, Scour is shut down, and now I can't access iMesh.
