SMC Barricade & @home email

I have the Barricade set up and communicating with the internet but I cannot get through to the @home email server. Is there anything special I need to do to make it work or is @home email down again?

Does this Barricade you are talking about block the ports that your @Home mail server uses? find out the ports that @Home uses (by calling them up) and then compare it to which ones your barricade blocks..

Thanks for the response.

I found the solution by calling both @home and SMC. I needed the IP address of the email server, found it by pinging the [domain name].mail address given me by @home.

Works like a champ now.

Exactly since you're not on the external workgroup, @home. If you ping "mail" you will get a timeout since it's not behind the router on your local LAN.
