SMC 7004BR router printer setup with W2KPro question...

Hi,
anyone using SMC 7004BR router with Windows 2k pro? if so, have you got the printer
function to work properly? I can't seem to configure it properly. So far, tech support
has not been very helpful...
also, I noticed that on my Q3 network play, my ping seems to have increased quite a bit.
is this normal? I have updated to latest firmware on the router.
