1. SMC AP Router/ W Print Server at Outpost @ 199.95 Before Rebate

2. Staples Item Number and Sku is IM1215090 @ 349.99 (Not Available Online) 1-800-STAPLES

Apply that well used coupon from our favorite coupon dispursion site ( site will remain nameless to protect the innocent!

My friend and I are having an argument over if router is pronounced "rooter" or if its pronounced "rowter", what do you guys say? We have a dollar placed on whoever is right, it looks to me like dictionary.com says its "rooter".

I personally pronounce it as "rowter" too, but the word "route" itself can be pronounced both "rowt" and "root" as well.

<< BTW since when does outpost have free shipping? >>

Outpost USED to have free overnight shipping on everything they sold. It was truly amazing...I placed an order at 9pm and had it in my hands at 10am the next day! Back in January they upped the minimum from $0 to $100 to get free overnight. In the last two months or so it went to $500, and the shipping you get for free is two-day, not overnight. I'm not sure how gr8snakee gets free shipping from outpost for this one...unless perhaps s/he hasn't shopped there since the glory days... :)

Ok for the record, I have not shopped from outpost.com before.

What i said was staples should not charge you next day shipping since outpost is shipping same day. When it comes down to it. 5.00 does not matter to me, but with 20 minutes on hold and one call later it does apparently matter to staples as they felt bad and gave me free shipping. The first CSR lied to me and said it was out of stock. ( I had outpost on the other line) 10 Lines is nice at the office):)It was not until the second one, that some progress was made. Staples gives free shipping over 50.00. Outpost was same day. It is completely up to the CSR. It is a judgement call.

Like i said Mileage will Vary

Decent deal, but it's not all that hard to have figured out anyway normally... I only personally consider a deal hot at 38%+ :).

both my orderes were cancelled, 'item not available' .

nice of them not to tell me! I checked the status online and found it. Why do they ask me for my phone # and email. I could have sat here a week waiting on these things........

EDIT: is stand corrected! Just checked my home answering machine, they did call to tell me no stock, try again in 7-10 days. Which i will try, as long as my coupons still work.

The accepted pronunciation in the US is "rowter". I used to work with a lot of Brits who called them "rooters". No matter how you pronounce it, this is a sweet piece of hardware. I've had mine for months.

Well, if anyone gets one of these let me know how it goes. I really want a wireless router one but I need someone to vouch for this thing first ;)

i got shipping confirmation from a rep. I asked her to call me today upon my request. My first one had an issue. THey fixed it apparently. Said nothing about a stock issue.
