Siamese Dream - Quiet

Great song. That whole album's really great. Are any of their other albums anywhere close to that good? I have Mellon Collie and it's kind of a disapointment.

I voted Mellon Collie but I hovered over Siamese Dream for a few seconds before hand. I enjoy both immensely.

Well, there's as many good songs on mellon collie but only because there's a lot more songs. Half the album is good, half I could live without. Imo.

Siamese Dream on the other hand I could listen to all the way through and enjoy every second of it.

And it's a miracle you're still alive. Most people would've committed suicide after the 1st week.
 
Siamese Dream was one of the best albums of the 90's, excellent stuff all the way through. Mellancollie was ok, had some good songs on it and I loved the concept, but Siamese Dream was just beyond great.

I can't say just one album though. They all have great songs. On a side note Crogan's solo album is due this summer from what I have read. I know Chamberland plays drums on it.

 
Siamese Dream, although my heart wants to vote Gish since it was my first exposure to the band and I love the song "Crush".
 
I don't even have siamese dream, having only gotten into the pumpkins around the time of MC&IS but I voted for that. I don't think I've heard a bad song off that album. I'd pick it up if I had a CD player that worked in my car.
 
My fave SP tune is probably Hummer. Honourable mentions:

That's my fav song although I'm not a big fan of theirs.

I remember when tix went on sale for the Tampa show to support Siamese Dream. I knew about the album, but guess how I found out about their show.

I was in line for a different show (Peter Gabriel, I believe) and the kids behind me were in line for the SP show. 🙂 There were only 2 people in front of me, so I could've gotten great seats if I cared about them at the time.



 
i'm the biggest early-mid 90's rock nut you can find, but SP has to be the weakest of the bunch. Siamese Dream is easily their best, but the later half of the album just bores me.

gimme STP, AIC, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Tripping Daisy, Weezer, Shudder To Think, Faith No More over SP any day.
