Smash TV

Never heard of Smash TV for the pc. I used to play that in the arcade about 14 years ago though. The closest thing is probably Alien Shooter Vengeance - I just bought it off of steam for 10 bucks, is really similiar in concept.
 
You can play it via emulation (mame) or if you want you can pick up the Midway Arcade Treasures compliation which includes Smash TV. I never tried the pc version but you may be able to find it on ebay for even cheaper.

Shadowgrounds 1 and 2 are that style and are pretty cheap. Both are available on Totalgaming.net. You can get an emulator to play the SNES version of Smash TV on the computer. I did that when I was in College, but it has been a while and I am not sure what good emulators are out now.
