Smartphones in the US? Choices?

the problem with smartphones is that it is trying to cram two devices that have no business being together into one form factor. usually it is the normal form factor for one of the devices and so crappy for the other, or some hybrid form factor which is crappy for both

no business being together? I think they fit perfectly together (organizer and phone that is). One less device to lug around. It's true about the form factor, I think sony is on to something with their P900 design though.
