Smartmedia Card Error

I have a Simpletech 64 MB Smartmedia card for my Olympus digicam. It was working until just a few days ago and now it says -F- on my camera and when I try to format it just gives me an error.

I can open the card up when I put the card in my card reader just fine.

Any suggestions?
