Smartmedia card: Durable enough for wallet storage?

They are durable more durable then CF from what I remember reading. You can run it over and it will work. CF = dead when it is run over as it is too thick.

No, actually. This is just data I don't want falling into the wrong hands, and my wallet is much more secure than on the laptop's hard drive or in the laptop case.

I'm really sorry for bringing up an old thread, but I found this by accident while trying to find Smartmedia posts in FS/FT, and I just couldn't resist replying. 😛


The data on the card is the phone number for the really cute brunette in Marketing that doesn't know he exists. But he finally got Bob in Sales to get her number from Steve in Finance who got it from Julie in Customer Service who got it from her boyfriend who used to be dating the brunette. And since there's no way he'll get anyone to give it to him again, he needs to keep it safe. 😀
