Smart Phones need a new name... what to call them?

The only one that matters are these things [Mossberg holds the iPhone and RIM's Blackberry Storm] which I just call handheld computers or super smartphones.

Smart phone works just fine. The problem is that people use the term to describe phones that are anything but smart... the Instinct for example - it's a disgrace to the term.

Not sure where you're from, but they're still not the norm in many place... including here. They're still expensive enough that many people can't justify it, and lots of folks just don't need such a thing.

my cousin calls hers her laptop. i just call my omnia my phone. or windows phone when people ask me what kind it is.

Pretty much what I was thinking. With something as nice as the Pixi going for $30 it isn't going to be long until they are just "phones".
