Did anyone else try http://www.smallvilletorch.com/?

They showed Clark (I think) loading up the site to do some sort of research. When I loaded up the actual site, it was the exact same thing that I saw on TV. It seems to be a fictitious online local news page with articles from Smallville writers.

It's pretty interesting how they're trying to lure people in by trying to use some of that Blair Witch formula, by allowing people to feel that they're part of the show in some little way.

I'd like to look at Lex Luthor's script for that last episode.

[Enter Lex]
Lex: <insert something deep>
[Exeunt Lex]

[Enter Lex]
Lex: <insert soemthign else deep>
[Exeunt Lex]

Seems like the producers has that poor guy popping in and out of scenes to contribute his one-lined comments of significance.

Did that guy really shave his head off for the show? Or is it some type of cover-up?

Ya I had wondered about that, funny thing is that they dont accually use the web site to host it. The site just has a link to the WB site.

I had thought about lex haveing a funny part in tha episode. So far I think hes about my favorite character so far. Ive kindof givin up on the accual plot of the show and just started watching the back storys that are going on. Those are accually good. Though whoever is writing the scripts for the main stories each week I think had a former job as a writer for the Power Rangers....

I think its worth watching, some of the episodes plots, like I said, dont amount to anything but all in all its a great show.

same thing was done last year with Boston Public. You could go to the Holt45 web site, just like the teachers on the show. I don't know if its still there, and I'm to lazy to check, so type it yourselves. :)

How to write a smallville eppy:

1. person has a problem
2. they get powers from kryptonite that usually solves that problem
3. they kill at least 1 person (most of the time)
4. oh no super gang something's up....we must discuss it
5. clark has to do something with lana
6. clark has to run away leaving lana alone
7. clark tries to fight but theirs kryptonite F***ing everywhere and everyone has the god damned stuff
8. person ends up using their own powers against themself or accidentally kill themself

That girl from the last episode didn't eat herself. I guess we are seeing a little more creativity from the writers.

I like it just to see how Superman grew up and how he deals with Lana, his friends, and his parents. The old Superman was kind of a loner (except for Lois) so it may be interesting to see what happens to him and also to see what makes Lex become an evil genius. Lex right now is as nice as possible to Clark what with trying to hook him up with Lana and all. I wonder if he already has a hidden agenda.

The writing team needs to try a different template, the current 'Kryptonite makes you what you want' template (as lowfatbaconboy so well detailed) is getting old.

And the people around Clark, besides his parents that know, seem to be idiots. I mean, how many times does a guy have to be at the right place and the right time and save someone before people start noticing? Not to mention HOW he saves them, for instance, he's ripped and thrown a car door to save the Asian Teacher from a burning car in 'Hothead'...I guess nobody in Smallville notices that sort of thing.

I don't know, maybe I'm just too picky.
