Smallville: How are luther and Lana related?

Well for one they are both in the show smallville

Luthor and Lana are both owners of the Talon, that coffee shop Lana works at.

they're not related.

lana is an orphan - her parents died when the meteor shower hit smallville (this is the shower that brought clark into town as a kid)

EDIT: last season lana was living with her aunt and i think she still is this season... unsure.

lex is the son of um i forgot his dad's name, but he basically gets some parts of luthor corp to play with. he's living in smallville because his dad sent him there to run some facets of luthor corp. now that his dad is blind, the two spend a lot more time around each other, or else his dad would be in metropolis.

Not sure, but I thought in the first or second episode Lana said Lex is a distant relative. Like Lana's aunt is second cousin to to Lex or something like that because they were invited to Lex's party at his mansion.

God the show isnt that good. Even lamer that I know something about it. You mean the Lex's wedding with the freaky chick with the suped up pheromones? Funny that same actress played a character on Mutant X that had super pheromones. Damn I upped the geek/lame multiplier by 1000x. so sad
