smallville cancelled?!

WB just ran a commercial showing their new fall lineup and said they will be saying goodbye to a bunch of shows...smallville was shown as one of the shows.

can anyone confirm this?!
 
Did anybody else read this thread title and think "Good."

Yes, Smallville is staying in the Thursday night timeslot and will be on the CW network. See KryptonSite for details.
 
Hey, as long as it continues I don't give a damn. WB is no a rapid decent, I'd like to stay far, far away from them.

Will the CW Network be on public TV?
 
Well as long as it's only changing networks then I don't care. I'm also glad to see Supernatural returning.
 
I saw something mentioned on an article for the 7th Heaven finale that said that the whole WB network was cancelled. This was due to the merger of WB and UPN as was stated above by EvilYoda. I would think that most of the popular shows will continue to be picked up. I saw somewhere that there is a good possibility that 7th Heaven will have yet another season. 🙂

Isn't there going to be a point when the show is no longer really about Smallville? I mean, he's got the fortress of solitude, he's been running around in Metropolis forever now...he pretty much has all of his powers now and pretty much has mastered them all...the show Smallville was about Clark Kent growing up...he's all grown up now. Time for Smallville to die. Doesn't mean we won't see more...
 
they better not cancel the show! clark hasn't learn his LAST power, to FLY! he actually flew but in kal-el not in clark kent.
