smallest p4 setup (mb & case)

I was looking for the smallest p4 setup...I really like the Shuttle sv24, but I wanted to use a p4 and have a dvd-rom and move my ati AIW in it just for tv and dvds. What's out there?
thanks.

Shuttle has announced that a version of the SV24 with a P4 motherboard will ship next month so until then a MicroATX P4 motherboard is as small as you can get. A MATX motherboard from Asus, Epox or Intel and one of Chilli Pro's anodized aluminum cases would make a cool looking small computer with room for a DVD drive and add on cards.

thanks.
I guess I will wait then.
It would be really cool to get a shuttle as small as a sv24 and put a p4 2.2. I am just waiting for the dual mbs for the northwood's to come down a bit to upgrade my power server 😉. I wonder if I can squeeze them for a discount for being a shareholder 😀

Well, I've been recommending this case a lot lately... Casper II P4 ready!
It may not be Theeeee smallest, but it's quite small, yet still large enough to handle a microATX board (instead of flex) and 4 full-sized expansion slots (instead of 2-4 HALF-height slots!)

Gs400TRd, since Xeon motherboards(Northwood's are not SMP enabled)are not aimed at the enthusiast market the price for one without onboard SCSI will probably never fall below $350. I'm in the process of building a dual Xeon system and I paid $415 for a Supermicro P4DCE+ which isn't bad for a new Xeon motherboard.
