smallest font in the world!

Just installed XP pro and have an annoying problem I have also had this problem in the past on win2k pro. Almost everytime I open a window in IE the font is so small I can barely see it. I have to continuously go to View/Text Size and change it to Medium. But sure enough, the next page I open it is back to smallest again.
I read a long time ago of a person on the forums that contributed a similar problem to opening links through Eudora Pro. I solely use eudora pro so I'm not sure if there could be a relation.
I've tried different video cards, drivers, windows update, etc.
Any ideas.

still looking for help with this. i would rather not just change browsers, there has to be a fix.

I have a similar thing in 2kPro, although not as bad, and no you shouldn't have to switch browsers. There's probably a default registry setting *somewhere* but I haven't been able to find it yet. Mine always reverts to 1 below the Normal setting.
 
while in the browser, make sure it has focus ie.click on the browser title bar so it is the active window, then hold down the ctrl key and move the scroll wheel on the mouse. That will increase/decrease the font and when you get it where you like it, close the browser and when you reopen the browser it will keep the new font size.
 
bot2600-- It seemed to work at first but now it sadly will not always remeber the size I selcted. thanks for the tip anyway.
