Smallest ATX case?? For use as a HTPC...

I'm trying to find a small case that will fit a ATX motherboard and power supply. I have parts in a full sized tower that has had it's hard drive die (I have a spare sluggish 5400RPM 15GB somewhere) and I need to make use of it. I was/am also thinking of building a HTPC to watch movies and tv shows from so using the old parts would save me some money.

Here's what I have:

ASUS P3B-f
Tulatin Celeron 1.4GHz
512 MB PC100
etc.
Fortron 300Watt PSU.

Know of any case that can house this stuff and yet remain low profile or am I just out of luck in the size factor?

Enlight 7200 may be a reasonable balance of size and usability. They aren't expensive. I priced a couple of them at mid-$50, shipped. When I was looking, though, the only color being sold was "putty", so I was going to have to paint it; but got something else, also needing to be painted . .

🙂

Ooh, haven't thought about that. I guess I'd like to spend $100 max including shipping. But, after seeing pics of Kiwi's Enlight 7200 mention, I think this is a fruitless idea. The size of the ATX board itself with all of those PCI slots (and ISA in my case :Q) makes a "desktop" size/style case the only option and that I can't fit in my entertainment rack... cept to throw it behind the TV 😉.

What is much more likely (unless someone comes up with a miracle) is me buying a barebone with optical out and a athlon/sempron combo. Which would be the first time going AMD yay!!
